This Porsche 356A Speedster tribute was built by Vintage Motorcars of Hawaiian Gardens, California, The car was built in 2019 and has only traveled 5220 miles since build. The title reads as a 1957 PORSCHE 356.The car features a fiberglass body finished in metallic gray and mounted over a modified Volkswagen Beetle chassis as well as fixed-back seats upholstered in brown. Power comes from a 1,914cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle featuring a 4.10:1 final drive. Features include dual Weber carburetors(44's), a vintage-style stereo, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and 15″ polished wide-five wheels.
The fiberglass body is fitted over a shorted and jig-welded Volkswagen chassis and is finished in Seal Gray Metallic. Features include a single-grille engine lid, teardrop taillights, gold Speedster and 1600 Super badging, a driver-side mirror, glass wind wings, and a reproduction Reutter badge on the right fender.
The 15” polished wide-five wheels are mounted with 185/65 Goodyear Assurance tires. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners.
The cabin features fixed-back seats trimmed in brown upholstery with a matching dash pad and door panels. Gray square-weave carpets line the seatbacks, floor panels, and front trunk. Features include a retro-style stereo, lap belts, and gray floor mats.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel features a colored Porsche crest horn button and frames VDO-style green-letter instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer.
The air-cooled Volkswagen 1,914cc flat-four features dual Weber carburetors with Uni air filters. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle with a 4.10:1 final drive.
The car is located in our indoor facility 25 miles east of downtown Nashville Tn. Independent inspections are welcomed and encouraged
